If you've seen my Instagram, you already know that I started writing Knocked Sideways after the 2024 U.S. presidential election. I was scared for my family. I needed to spend time in a world where being queer or trans wasn’t viewed as a problem or a threat or worse. Reading romance novels has always been the best kind of escape for me.
